Hello!

My name is Jonas Zook Jr. I’m an Amish craftsman with over 15 years’ experience building premium wood furniture. But that’s today – let me tell you how I got here.

When I was younger, I worked for a popular furniture manufacturer, learning the basics of the trade. I guess you could say things went well, because one day, my boss’s customer approached me to ask if I could design a wood dog crate that would make his dog happy, and look good in his living room at the same time.

So I told him “sure! I could do that”, and he gave me a picture he thought would be a good starting point. I’ll admit, we did go through several revisions based on his feedback, but by the time a year had passed, it was perfect: we had custom built a designer dog crate that was as pleasing to the dogs as it was to their owners! Built from solid wood and quality hardware – this thing was going to last a lifetime and, with proper care, much longer than that.

Anyway, before long we began selling a lot of these Amish wood dog crates. By this time, my own dogs were all moved in to their comfy new homes (I even made them some fancy dog beds!), and I could see what all the fuss was about – not only did my happier dogs and I enjoy a closer relationship, but all my visitors were complimenting my beautiful wood pet furniture!

I really want animals – and people – to have a more comfortable lifestyle. That’s why I decided to start retailing my own quality products.
